There are several ways to decorate pottery. Taking a basic form you can alter it to create many different "looks", you can add sprigs or appendages to create interest. Then there is using slips to add color and texture. Those are all done before they are fired. But you can also add interest to the work through painting and other techniques. This page is a collection of work that I class as decorative.
